A Prepper's Guide: My Plan for Emergency and Everyday Food Storage: What's Your Plan? (en Inglés)
Reseña del libro "A Prepper's Guide: My Plan for Emergency and Everyday Food Storage: What's Your Plan? (en Inglés)"
In my previous book, I discussed the criticality that I placed on using all of my preps each and every day. In my plan, food storage is no different. There are retailers out there who are more than happy to sell you pallets of dehydrated or freeze dried foods, as well as other types of emergency rations. There are items like the SOS bars, high calorie protein snacks, and the like. In my plan, it is important to look at all the different options in my food storage strategy. I made mistakes along the way, but that is the beauty of prepping before an emergency arises; you have the opportunity to learn what works and what does not in a less stressful environment. When embarking on the food storage journey, keep your family's taste in mind. You can live off beans, rice, and a few other staples, but it would not go very far to aid in adding variety to mealtime. Do not get me wrong either. Beans, rice, pasta, wheat, flour, and other long term storage items are very important, but much can be said about the importance of variety in the diet. Especially when you find yourself in a survival situation. Implementing a food storage program takes a lot of planning but we can do this together!
