A spiritual-moral leadership vacuum exists in The White House. President Trump cannot speak with moral clarity or moral authority. More importantly, he cannot speak truth to evil. In fact, his presidential behavior suggests that he lacks God-consciousness, and therefore, he is not a spiritual-moral man. President Trump appears to be a vulgar, money-grubbing businessman. On August 12, 2017 in Charlottesville, Virginia, America's original sin (institutional racism) displayed its ugliness in a vulgar, terroristic manner. In 1980, when Ronald Reagan was elected to the presidency, he declared, "It's morning in America." On August 12th in Charlottesville, it became "midnight in America" because of the election of President Donald J. Trump. The Grand Dragon of the KKK, David Duke, said it best: "We are in Charlottesville to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump of taking our country back, and making America great again. And, President Trump you need to remember that it was White voters who put you in office." The stability of America's union is in serious constitutional jeopardy. Most Americans are horrified at the leadership style of Donald J. Trump on the world's stage. Donald J. Trump is God's permissive will, and may be God's way of getting our attention as a nation. Just maybe, America needs to remember to declare, "Praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth for ever. Praise ye the Lord." Americans, fear God, not President Trump, because it is a fact that one day you will meet Him. "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). President Trump, there are not "on many sides," because "the house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish" (Proverbs 14:11). Selah!
