She just finished her cancer residency so she's new, but we will break her in, won't me Mr. Miles?" the nurse said with sadden adoration through eyes filled will tears only she could feel. "Well, if she needs practice, I'll have plenty of it for her, won't I?" he laughed through the coughs. "Did I ever tell you I use to know someone named Laurane? She was a great friend. We would stay up talking to each other on the phone for nights on end. But that my child was a lifetime ago.
