Objectives: To study the epidemiological, clinical, CT scan and therapeutic aspects of cerebral microangiopathies Methodology: Retrospective study. Results: Microangiopathies are responsible for 20.9% of strokes. They are the cause of lacunar infarcts, haematomas and or cognitive disorders. They are more common in men than in women and affect subjects with an average age of 58.2 years. They are associated with high blood pressure (74.3%) and alcohol consumption (21.4%). Motor deficits are more frequent (97.4%), in particular hemiplegia (65.8%). Sensory disorders (46.1%), hemiballism (0.85%) and cognitive disorders (9.4%) were observed. The lacunae were isolated in 4.5%, associated with cerebral haemorrhage (25.7%) or leukoaraiosis (68.1%). They were capsular in 83.3% with a mean size of 12.57mm. Isolated haemorrhages (52.2%) were deep (80.6%) with an average size of 39.47mm. Leukoaraiosis was frequent in 41.88% and associated with lacunae (91.83%). Microangiopathies were frequent.
