This book is about how I decided to take control of my emotions and health after being diagnosed with Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) in 2011. I hit a brick wall and I didn't want to die. I realized there was a lot I could live without, but I could not live without my lungs. I immediately got back into therapy and began to explore many themes in my life: emotional trauma, childhood sexual abuse, loss, spirituality, emotional eating and depression. I had to journey from the inside out to restore my lung functioning from 34% to 81%. I hope my testimony inspires you to journey into the dark places of your life, so that you too can be free and live well.
