Okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L. Moench) belongs to the family of Malvaceae being economically important vegetable crop grown in sub-tropical and tropical parts of the world. Warm and humid atmosphere is favourable for the development of okra crop. Okra is a good source of vitamins, minerals, calories, and amino acids found in seeds.
