Reseña del libro "Harmonious Harlow: in Embracing Diversity (en Inglés)"
The message of tolerance is so important for young children to understand. We can look different, wear different garb, speak a different language, believe different things...but our core values are quite often values that we all share.... love, understanding, peace, respect and good morals. We must communicate these ideas, not agitate each other, to help humanity relate. Our original music helps to reinforce all of these messages in an upbeat and relevant way.Harmonious Harlow is fourth in our series of books with downloadable original music to help children cope with the normal developmental challenges of their early formative years. In this book, Harlow, as a child in the Melonville School, is in charge of the school assembly titled "The Spirit of America". As he plans the program, with the help of the school counselor, he and all the children learn that they are a diverse group with similar values. They may look different, believe in different Gods, and dress in oddly different ways... but they do have many things in common. As they prepare for the program they are confronted and bothered by the school bully who makes fun of their garb, beliefs and traditions. With the help of Harlow's dad they create Rap songs for the program. The final production is proof that the U.S. melting pot of citizens is truly what makes the Spirit of America so colorful and exciting.......and that we have far more in common with each other than we have differences.
