Brutality stalks the final moments of many in this story of love, betrayal and exploitation. Ordinary people get caught up in extraordinary events that threaten to twist their very existence out of all recognition. They have a choice: capitulate or fight - be a silent victim or risk everything. Maxwell York moved to London as a graphic design student in the 1970s, where he has since remained, spending many years working for creative agencies based in or around Covent Garden and Soho. He is married with two children and lives near Richmond Park on the outskirts of London. INVERSION is the author's first novel.
