This book represents one half of an effort to overhaul and sort my poetry written in the last few decades. I have divided the poems thought worthy of publishing into two volumes: 'Selected Poems 2016, ' and 'Less Preferred Poems 2016.' Obviously, this is the less preferred volume, but it has merit, I think, and probably contains some poems that are better than some in 'Selected.' The present volume has been organized according to topics, the same as the other: Nature, Animals, Family, Dirty Verse, etc.. But while the first volume contains poems about the universally interesting subject of Food, this one omits that subject and covers instead the difficult topic of Lust. It also includes an essay on poetry.
