The meeting was the first step in a passionate love affair between Dr Mitchell and the Author and is a true story. It is also about a semi-biography of the fascinating life of this lady who now lives in Egypt and is in process of restoring the Great Temple of Bastet in the Delta region. Dr. Mitchell shared many secrets with Khadija and called her his 'best friend and confident' At the time of their meeting he was going through a nasty divorce with his third wife and she was there for him. They built a deep friendship that lasted until his death. Readers will find the triumph of the author who suffered sexual abuse and rape, and battled depression and suicide as a result of her abuse at the age of nine. She is now happily married to an archaeologist and working with restoration projects in the temples. She is also active in animal rescue and is studying veterinary medicine.
