One of the most interesting feature of organic frame work or crystal growth is proton conducting pathway within the ionic channels. Crystal growth is the major stage of crystallization process. Due to this property it readily undergoes protanation while it combines with carboxylic acid. Benzimidazole ring displays an important pharmacophor in drug discovery. So, we were investigating the anti-microbial activities of benzimidazolium salicylate crystals.
