The Plattner Story and Others is a collection of seventeen short stories written by H. G. Wells. This volume was rst published in March 1897 by Methuen & Co. The Plattner Story is itself a classic Victorian science ction short story, rst published in 1896. A young chemistry teacher is blown into a parallel universe or 4th dimension by a greenish powder.
