Reseña del libro "Welcome to the Door---This One Swings Both Ways (en Inglés)"

In most places on the universe LGBTQ individuals face difficulties. They are constantly being harassed both verbally and physically. As a result, thousands attempt to live in the closet and many others engage in heterosexual relationships in order to disguise their sexuality. To their dismay, they find happiness to be void and many give up and go in search of places where they can live openly as a homosexual. A thousand different adventures await a naive man who for the first time engages in homosexual relationships. An interesting story develops when a gay man gives up the life as a married man and goes in search of adventures inside the world of homosexuality. Gaiety is a world within its self and even though it is filled with fun and excitement, there are pitfalls that should be avoided. As sad as it may be, those pitfalls trap some but millions live a happy, satisfying, high-spirited life, inside the world of homosexuality. The right to live free is the most precious possession for anyone. Once you have had a taste of freedom you will never go back. As for me, I know as long as there is a penny in my pocket I will find a place to live where I can be free. I was born and raised in the Confederate Southern Bible Belt and to escape oppression I moved. The fact that the Confederate government made it unlawful to teach an African American to read and write tells me all I need to know about the government, much less about all the other atrocities that occurred during the time of the Confederacy. Slavery is a demeaning word just within the word itself. However, there are many forms of slavery even within a free society. The worse form is the enslavement of the mind. Nothing is more important than the freedom to think and even in today's world millions have allowed themselves to be brainwashed. Religious and government leaders have found that the easiest way to control people is by brainwashing. In the process of brainwashing people can be made to believe anything. LGBTQ individuals do not need to be burdened with a needless, guilt complex. They must come to the realization that individuals have cherry-picked the Bible to place shame on a lifestyle in which they were born. Therefore it is important, no matter the age, to make the move, and inherit the right to be free. The most important move any LGBTQ individual can make is to find their place in the sun.
